From Heusden, you go to Lierop, then around Mierlo and a bit along the Eindhoven Canal. After that, you cycle to and through Nuenen to reach the hamlet of Stad van Gerwen at the Wilhelmina Canal.

You follow the Wilhelmina Canal for a long time, sometimes switching banks, until just before Oirschot. Then you turn north through the Groene Woud, the area between the triangle formed by Best, Tilburg, and Den Bosch with many nature reserves, including clay woods. Along the Veldersbosch (one of the clay wood areas), you cycle to Liempde on quiet roads. And then you're in the Meijerij, the agricultural landscape dominated by poplars.

Through the towns of Boskant and Nijnsel, you cycle towards Son and Breugel. Son and Breugel is bypassed via the hamlets of Olen and Mosbulten. Then you cycle along the Wilhelmina Canal until Aarle-Rixtel.

The route takes you back to Heusden through the area between Helmond and Bakel, De Bikkels, and Vlierden.
