Leersum Field

Walk over the Leersumse Field, returning along Donderstein. Total of 16.3 km.

Start at Eetcafe Anders, Rijksstraatweg 216, 3956 CW Leersum (open from 11 a.m.) or at the Pannekoekenrestaurant Janssen, Kerkplein (open from 10 a.m.). Via Graftombe and Breedeveen to Leersumse Field (follow Utrechtpad). At the end of Breedeveen, before the edge of the forest, turn left along the forest edge and cross Leersumse Field. For the passage between the ponds, take the path left over the heath. At the end, go right around the pond. Take the path between two ponds, back to the heath and on the other side turn left towards the east. Leave Leersumse Field and take the path to Heulweg. Gastronomy: Riding school Leersumse Field. From there, return the same way and along the east side of Leersumse Field back to Leersum. Cross Utrechtse Baan and Scherpenzeelse Weg and take the forest path left, then immediately right. On the second street, turn right to cross Scherpenzeelse Weg and through Donderstein to Utrechtse Baan. Here turn left. Second street to the left to Uilentoren. At the tower, turn right and then down the second path to the left to Leersum. Along the residential area to Rijksstraatweg and back to the starting point. Approximately 15.6 km.
