Walking through the expansive Ooypolder, you wander through a beautiful area east of the city of Nijmegen. It is a vast landscape with small villages and farms, where you constantly see the impressive mountain ridge to the south. Shortly, you take a detour to Kranenburg in Germany, until you ascend St. Jansberg near Beek over Filosofendal to Duivelsberg. In sight of the Zeven Heuvelenweg, you walk along paths through meadows and forests until you reach Groesbeek, now the largest wine village in the Netherlands, where the grapes for this divine juice grow on the slopes.
