This trail links Ballarat with the village of Buninyong. You will ride through a bushland corridor that initially follows the Canadian Creek. After passing Sovereign Hill you will come to Canadian Lakes where you will find newly developed lakes that attract birdlife and make an enjoyable stop off point along the way. The path eventually leaves the creek and follows the road all the way to Buninyong. The road that you are riding alongside forms part of the Australian Road Cycling Championship course.
