The forests of Sivry-Rance are part of the forest massif Forêt du Pays de Chimay. The Bruyère Forest and its 2.5 km long eco-educational route introduce you to what lives in the forest, its exploitation, the richness of the natural heritage, the inhabitants of the forest, and even mushroom hunting, through the educational signs along the rural path. The Bruyère Forest is a "Natura 2000" area, featuring a wide variety of trees and dominated by the Famenne oak-hornbeam forest. The arboretum houses nearly eighty different species of woody plants. The environment is also favorable for the black woodpecker that lives in the beech forests.
