GR57: From Maboge to Engreux - Le Hérou sur l'Ourthe

This route follows the main path of Maboge, the first village beyond La Roche, and takes you to the small, cozy village of Engreux. This part of the GR57 is one of the most beautiful parts of Belgium and is therefore definitely worth doing!
In addition to the Ourthe and dam, the toppers along the road is also the very rugged side of the hills the rock formation Le Hérou as a phenomenal panorama point.

The tour can also be started from La Roche, but as it is often very busy there and it is difficult to get rid of the car, you can start with the next village of Maboge. The part between La Roche and Maboge is not worth it. In Maboge there is a car park on the banks of the Ourthe.
If you are only doing this route of the GR57, you can leave a second car at the arrival point. This arrival point is in the small village of Engreux where you can park at the church (you will immediately notice a cozy terrace where you can relax after doing this route).

The description of the route is simple, because it is a GR route, you can not get lost and follow the indications of the GR road to Engreux.
