Nine km on foot in Havré, a district of Mons. On both sides of the N538 stretches the Bois de Havré, which we explore thoroughly. Just over half of the route runs on unpaved paths, mostly through the aforementioned forest, but also about 700 m between fields and meadows. Sights include the Chapel of Notre-Dame du Bon Vouloir, the Oratory of Saint-Antoine, and Barbenfosse - no, not one of the two famous Toontjes, but a hermit who spent his life here in a ditch - and the gradually fully restored Château de Havré. The only downside is the kilometer along the N538. The ring around Mons has once again made historical roads disappear, and there is no real alternative to this quite busy main road.
