You can also start this route from the Testelt station.
It’s best to follow your route by going left when coming from the Zichem station. You will go left just behind the tracks and immediately enter a beautiful nature area. In this area, there are black ponies and horses. Do not feed them. Upon exiting the nature area, you will turn left. Be careful, after a few hundred meters it turns sharply right and also sharply upwards. After having ascended a few height differences, you descend via the narrow path to cross the railway again. Now you walk for a few kilometers along the Demer. Then we go through the center of Zichem to reach the Maagdentoren via an unpaved bike path and thus back to the station.
