The walk primarily runs along paved streets through the green residential areas of Schoten and Schilde and through parts of Wijnegem. The Klein Schijn Valley is a beautiful, winding, and especially large cohesive area with many qualities. Water is omnipresent here.
In Wijnegem, there is still a bit of rural character, even with a vineyard. In Schilde, you enjoy the large castle estates through a network of slow roads. In this green 'cradle of villa construction', the Klein Schijn Valley is definitely worth discovering. Among the roads of the residential area, you will find slow roads that give you a glimpse of the valley area.
