An architectural rarity is the listed Scharwenkahaus, today the first Brandenburg Music Museum. Some houses were popularly given names like “Egg House” (Villa PAROLO) and Sterngazer Villa (Tetens Villa) due to their extravagant architecture, or they were named after famous spa guests like Maxim Gorky (Gorky House). The dark log cabin looks as if it had stepped out of a Russian fairy tale.
