The route Old Colliery Witnesses and the "Mellenliet" leads over a good eleven kilometres from the forest cemetery past the highest natural point of the Dickenberg and along the Rudolfhalde first through the rather flat north. It continues around the Uffelner Berg with its quarries and finally through the picturesque Ossenliet back to the starting point.
