Historical city tour Schmallenberg in 17 stations

You start the tour best at the Wood and Tourism Center (also available here is the flyer 'Historical City Tour', parking, WC) or at the parking lot at the town hall. The Historical City Tour picks you up in the present and takes you - this is meant literally - on a journey into the past on foot: Because we start with the textile industry, which is still important for Schmallenberg today, and with our walk along Weststraße to the south, we delve further and further into the past until the founding of the city. The nucleus of the city lies in today's Kurpark Alter Friedhof at the southernmost point of the narrow ridge surrounded by the Lenne. If you would like to take a break, benches and views invite you to linger there; as well as numerous cafes and restaurants along the tour.
