This quality tour leads from the Weser into the enchanted hinterland of Polle, through dense forests and bright expanses, past sights and magnificent views. The path uniquely combines village life and small-scale farming landscape with the solitude of the forest. The view from the well-preserved ruins of Poller Castle, which was first mentioned as Eversteiner Castle in the 13th century, extends far into the idyllic Weser Valley and down to the well-frequented cable ferry, which has been in operation since 1905. On the way from civilization into the relaxing tranquility of Habichtstal, one can hear the lively splashing of the Spiekersiekbach, which makes its way past the Knickmühle.
