The approximately 2.5-hour hike in the Lausche region starts at the parking lot at Neu Sorge in the resort of Waltersdorf. Past the "Lazarus" nursing home, follow the road to the right, steadily uphill along pretty detached houses onto "Eisgasse". The yellow markings accompany you to the "Black Gate". Continue in a southerly direction along the Kammweg to the Lauscheborn. Here you can take a detour to the highest peak in the Zittau Mountains. On the way back, we recommend turning right at Lauscheborn in the direction of the Bauden. At the ski slope, turn left onto the soft path, walk past the former ski jump tower and continue straight ahead along the "Schwarzer Grabenweg" to the "Wendebruchstiege". Now turn right onto the "Talweg" at the next crossroads, turn left onto the Hohlweg and follow it to the fork with three branching paths, take the leftmost path to the Sorgeteich and back to the parking lot.
