The church was founded in 1552 by the cleric Angelo di Poto on a piece of land granted by the municipality. The current church was built between 1746 and 1757, replacing the other one that stood to the northeast at the corner of the intersection of via SS. Salvatore with via Trinità.
The church has a single nave, with 3 altars and a small chapel . The elegant and simple portal is striking in the harmonious facade with steps .
Among the works we find: possibly seventeenth-century cloth of the SS. Trinità and two other paintings (Mary Help of Christians and St. John Bosco).
