During the Grevenbicht-Obbicht walk, you stroll along the banks of the Maas through a beautiful piece of river nature in the municipality of Sittard-Geleen. From Grevenbicht, you discover the central part of RiverPark Maasvallei, where the Netherlands and Belgium work together on one large nature reserve. You walk through expansive nature with views of the water, where the Maas meanders through the landscape as a natural border. Between Obbicht and Grevenbicht, you walk through a small-scale landscape with fields, orchards, and traces of a Roman past. This is South Limburg at its best: peaceful, green, and surprisingly close.
