Starting locations:

• Park Strijthagen, Hofstraat 5 in Landgraaf
• Sportpark Imstenrade, Zandweg 193 in Heerlen
• Sportpark Kaldeborn, Stadionbaan 50 in Heerlen

The Parkstad route consists of five loops that are interconnected, so you can drive each route separately, or the five loops together. The junctions are indicated with signs with the numbers of the routes.

This Parkstad Heerlen route is located between the Parkstad Landgraaf (Strijthagen) route and the connecting route between the Mechelen and Nuth-Voerendaal routes. The route goes partly through forests located in residential areas, has a beautiful flow trail in the Imstenraderbos and has two longer climbs and descents near the Kunderberg. There are some beautiful views in the route. The nature reserves of Imstenrade and Benzenrade make this route more than worthwhile.

The route is marked with wooden poles with a yellow plate on it and the international MTB sign in green.
