From Petten Strand to the beautiful dunes of Schoorl.
Nestled among the highest and widest dunes in the country is the friendly village of Schoorl. This coastal town perhaps has the most beautiful dune area in North Holland, but it has always remained modest in this regard. You can simply ride your bike to the beach. At the foot of the climbing dune, which rises over fifty meters high – where children happily roll down – there has been the same café for over a century. And the trees? They have also grown beautifully old.
