Ruisseau de la fontaine Saint-Hadelin - Celles

The St-Hadelin valley is fed by several streams oriented along a NZ axis. These flows are permanent because they are fed by springs.

When the water supply is small, all the water from the stream will infiltrate and the valley will be dry. The Fontaine St-Hadelin has a very irregular flow : from almost zero in summer to more than 1000 l/s in winter

During low water periods, the transfer time is 37 hours for a distance of 4 kilometers (maximum speed = 108 m/h; modal speed =
88 m/hour); During high water periods the transfer time is 21 hours.

The Fontaine Saint Hadelin stream flows into the Lesse, 4 kilometers southwest of Celles, near the Gendron-Celles station.
