The route takes you to the heart of the l’Eau d’Heure valley in Ham-sur-Heure, where the procession of Saint-Roch takes place every year, one of the many folk parades of the Tussen-Samber-en-Maas region and recognized as intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO. The walking route begins at "La Praie". You follow the water deep into the forest at Beignée. After the railway, you return through the streets of the village, where there used to be an old quarry and then, in 1924, a glass factory that specialized in hollow glass.
