Just when you think the Pajot landscape of the village of Heikruis couldn't get any more beautiful, the walk goes through Ter Rijst Castle Park. This park has everything for romantic souls: arched bridges, winding paths, neatly trimmed lawns and graceful old trees. The castle itself dates back to the fifteenth century but received its imposing classicist appearance in the nineteenth century. Here you can walk in peace and quiet. In spring you can enjoy the beautiful flowers here.
