As the previous stage, this one also runs from south to north over the edge of the Kempen Plateau. However, here coniferous forests prevail over heathland. The walk begins with a literal and figurative climax: the ascent to the hills of the former coal mine of Eisden. Further north, you will get to know Bergerven, where a waterfowl area has developed through the extraction of gravel. Finally, you will get to know the Bosbeek Valley, ending in the village of Opoeteren.
