Do you remember the media hype surrounding the Royal Donation? A vague organization managing a wide range of assets that once belonged to King Leopold II: a colorful mix of public and private properties, forests, parks, and land. Under the pretext that the king knows better than anyone where the beautiful places in his own country are, I decided to sketch a ‘Royal Route’ based on this investigation. A route along the real estate holdings of the royal family in the Ardennes.
