The green loop of the Dijkenroute in Diksmuide is approximately 40 km long and is predominantly flat. Starting from the sports center, you ride towards the Ijzer. From there, you return via the Frontzate cycling path and some rural roads back to the banks of the Ijzer. Afterwards, you take in some beautiful views, via Beerst, Vladslo, and finally via the Handzamevaart back towards Diksmuide. A nice mix of quiet asphalt roads and unpaved paths.
You can also pick up a technical MTB course at the beginning or end of your route behind the sports hall.
You can also find a connection between Beerst and Vladslo with the blue loop of Diksmuide, good for an extra ten kilometers.
