A scenic walk of 25km with the highlight being Freÿr. Not the Norse god of male sexuality, but the largest and highest climbing massif in Belgium. A natural climbing wall with over 600 routes, with the highest cliffs reaching 120 meters. These rock formations are located by the Meuse River, in the province of Namur and a hamlet of the municipality of Hastière. We explore the Meuse between Anseremme and Waulsort, climbing this massif twice and descending it once, along adventurous paths and steep edges.
In Waulsort, we cross the Meuse and return along the north side. This is through forests with another steep section between Moniat & Noyon Pré. Under the viaduct of the N96, we descend to the Meuse, to cross it again and complete this challenging loop walk.
