AzureThe 180 km long Scheldt route follows the Scheldt like a "blue thread". The route starts at the border of West Flanders with Hainaut, in Spiere-Helkijn. Via Oudenaarde, it follows the course of the Upper Scheldt until it joins the banks of the Zeeland Scheldt at Ghent in the direction of Antwerp. Along the way, you will discover the wet and nature-rich Scheldt with its old branches of the Scheldt, the Flemish Ardennes, the Leie region, the Scheldt and the Waasland.
