The archaeological site of Two Burial Mounds is located in the Königsforst between Mergelsberg and Großer Steinberg in the Frankenforst district of Bergisch Gladbach.
The two burial mounds are situated south of the Steinbruchweg at the edge of a small elevation. The eastern mound is 0.7 m high and has a diameter of 9 m. The western mound is 0.75 m high and has a diameter of 12 m. Both are inconspicuous and hardly noticeable to the uninformed hiker. It is unknown who constructed the graves and at what time.
