Walk to the bird paradise Blankensee

With Nuthe-Nieplitz-Tours, the Landscape Promotion Association Nuthe-Nieplitz-Niederung e.V. has developed the first free regional multimedia guide for the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park. Tour 5 invites you to take a walk into the bird paradise Blankensee, starting from the Nature Park Center at the wildlife park Glauer Tal.The bird sanctuary Nuthe-Nieplitz-Niederung is an important European breeding and resting area for birds with its lakes, wet meadows, and marshlands. The 2-hour walk leads from the Nature Park Center to Blankensee - the heart of Nuthe-Nieplitz-Niederung - and back again. On the tour, you will learn interesting facts about the birdlife of Nuthe-Nieplitz-Niederung, receive tips for birdwatching, and can observe protected bird species such as osprey, crane, greylag geese, and many more from specially designed platforms and towers.And how does it work? The tours can be easily played on your own smartphone. Nuthe-Nieplitz-Tours is available for free download at the Nature Park Center.
