On this stage you hike from Strausberg to Strausberg. Sound strange, but it is like that.
The elongated place is on the east bank of the Strausberger See and has three train stations. Today you will walk from the Strausberg / Stadt train station to the Strausberg / Bahnhof train station.

How to get there / Interesting facts: At the beginning it is always along the banks of the Straussee. Then you pass the Annatal over the Herrensee to the southern Strausberg train station. The Annatal was created from a meltwater channel during the Ice Age. Due to the difference in altitude between Straussee and Stienitzsee of about 30 meters, the meltwater has also been carried away by the fast-flowing stream. In the past, this hydropower was used by five water mills. Today part of the Anna valley has been declared a landscape protection area.
