Fontaine de Vaucluse is one of the most visited places in Provence. During the summer months, it seems really black with people from here. These are the tourists looking for a bit of refreshment at the source of the Sorgue. Especially the part between the roundabout and the source is dotted with souvenir shops.
The village owes its success to the impressive source of the Sorgue. The source is the most powerful in France and the fifth worldwide.
