This 18 km route introduces you to the many craftsmen of La Gacilly and then immerses you in nature, between forests and the waterways of the Aff and the Nantes-Brest canal.

Things to see along the way

• The craftsmen of La Gacilly: discover the talent of the craftsmen in the floral alleys of La Gacilly. They work with wax, clay, wood, glass, and flowers to create high-quality decorative and everyday objects. For more than 35 years, these craftsmen have welcomed you into the narrow streets of the village to show you their world through their know-how.
• The Glénac mortuary site is an extensive natural area ideal for water sports and outdoor activities. A fitness trail, playground, and picnic tables are available.
• The village of Saint Jacob: The slate quarries in the schist village of Saint Jacob have left their mark on the history of the Fougerêts. They were exploited until about 1860 and contributed to the development of “Saint-Jacob” (a former priest village), which was named as one of the economic centers in the Brittany region. Like its main activity, the village consists of slate houses.
