Reconstruction of the route followed by Queen Christina of Sweden in 1654-1655 during her conversion-journey from Stockholm to Rome. Stage 10: cavalcade in Rome, Christina's solemn entry in de city on the 23rd of December 1655. This final extra stage is presented as a cycling route. (There is also a slightly different walking version.) Much of this stage goes by a cycle-path. Some small parts may be somewhat uncomfortable for cyclist, such as the first 500 meters in the Via Ottaviano. You could decide to walk such parts. Besides places of interest directly linked to this cavalcade several other Christina-related locations in Rome are marked.
