Walking shoes ready? Go for 10 kilometers of pure air in the northern part of Domeinbos Hoge Vijvers. Contrary to what the name suggests, you won't find any ponds here. But a mosaic of pine forests, open heaths and fields. At Zwartven, just across the border, you imagine yourself in the dunes. The drifting sand is given free rein here. After your walk, settle down in the Wouwershoeve teahouse which is part of Talander: a social housing and work project for people with mental disabilities. Be sure to visit the picking meadow and take home a bouquet of colorful memories.
