You depart from the Gothic St. Martin's Church with its bulbous bell tower and its 15th-century tabernacle. The church has been classified since 1970. Follow the small alley that leads to the path that takes you to the hamlet of "Gros Rouloy." This walk is valued for its marshy meadow landscape. A part of the Sambre is classified as a "Natura 2000" area due to the exceptional fauna and flora it hosts. To maintain the reserve without mechanical assistance, Tarpans (wild horses) and a Shetland pony are used. Marshlands are a breeding, migration, and wintering area for waterfowl and the great crested newt. Small white and yellow water lilies provide color to the landscape.
