On Saturday, March 8 2025, the Ename Classic will open a new season of the Proximus Cycling Challenge. A beautiful season opener that sets the tone for a series of challenging bike rides through the most beautiful regions of our country. The Ename Classic is a first good test for those who have trained hard over the past months. For others, it's an ideal moment to awaken from their (bike) winter sleep.

Some unknown but tough climbs, well-running connecting stretches, and stunning landscapes along the way, that is the Ename Classic. In short, the perfect ride to test and sharpen your fitness. The beginning of what will undoubtedly be a long and enjoyable cycling season.

For the start and finish of the opening ride of the Proximus Cycling Challenge, we head to Oudenaarde, a city that is closely connected to cycling for race enthusiasts. Four beautiful routes of 65 km, 90 km, 120 km, or 150 km are on the menu. As an extra, Brouwerij Roman will provide a free bottle of Ename abbey beer at the finish.
