No problem on the route, but a small change has been made, so that 70% of the route will be unpaved.

We start from the church square of Sint-Bavo Church (1775 with the coat of arms of the de Bette family above the church door, who were the patrons for the construction of the church). A walk with many unpaved paths that take us past fields with crops, the valley of the Serkampser forests, and the Nun's forest (the forest used to belong to the Tussenbeke monastery). Halfway (6 km), there is a picnic bench at a playground for a short break. The church and a house in Bredestraat (now demolished) were the backdrop for the film 'Helaasheid der Dingen'. Parking at the church, GPS Wanzele-Village.
