Ypres is a city in the Westhoek, only half an hour's drive from Kortrijk and fifteen minutes from the French border. The city had a very rich history that is reflected in the size of its historic city center. Ypres, however, was completely destroyed during the First World War when it was right on the front line. As a result, everything that can be found in Ypres is just a reconstruction of how it was before the start of what the English call The Great War. This led to the creation of this unique city in which the ideal walk is along attractions such as the Cloth Hall, the Grote Markt, the Fortresses, ... and a full arsenal of other gems, so that a trip to Ypres will not be forgotten!
