The Rosdambeek is a tributary of the Leie. In the part of the Rosdambeek valley north of the E40, you can still find beautiful alder swamp forests. Here you can encounter cowslips, gold veils, or cowslips in the spring. The southern part features a small-scale meadow landscape, with low-lying meadows, pollard tree rows, scrub, and wooded edges. In certain places, peat is present in the subsoil.
