Mont - Spa - Mont

Beautiful ride to the spring city of Spa with race, gravel or electric bike of just over 50 km. Starting from the cross of the Mount (hamlet just north of Malmedy-Bevercé), it heads towards Hockai. There we take the bridge on the right the Ravel L44a heading east towards Spa. You will soon experience that it is constantly falling so... it will also take a lot of climbing to finish at Mt. Please note, definitely bridgeable as very healthy water can be drunk halfway. After ± 15 km we leave the Ravel to admire the source of the Tonnelet.

In Spa itself, the church of Notre-Dame and Saint-Remacle is definitely worth a visit. Walking through the centre you will see the famous Casino on the left and a little further the beautiful Spa Park with the lifts leading to the Thermen de Spa on the front right. From above, you have a very beautiful view of the city. In the park there are also several benches for a possible pic-.

Once you leave Spa, the fun of climbing begins. After all, we pass by the Côte de Creppe-Ouest and the Rosier-Nord II. However, don't forget to stop at the Forest and Water Museum which you can see between the two tracks on your left. Going down the Col du Rosier is nice but... until Francorchamps waited for another difficult climb. From km 40 the Ravel L44a is again the ally of Hockai. Then a slight climb and a nice descent to the Mount. After ± 50 km at the junction with Rue de la Spinette (to the right of the Mont), the route still goes to Xhoffraix for those who want to enjoy a difficult but beautiful journey down Rue Adam on the terrace of Chez Rémy.
