The Johanneskirche Dömitz is the parish church of Dömitz in the provost of Parchim in the Mecklenburg church district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Northern Germany.
Since 1195, a church has been documented in Dömitz. St. John's Church is already the fourth church building, after previous churches had to be demolished due to dilapidation or a fire in the city. The construction of the current city church was carried out between 1869 and 1872 according to the plans of the Schwerin architect Oppermann on the site of the previous church, the highest elevation in the city. The church was consecrated on 20 October 1872 in the presence of its patron, Grand Duke Frederick Francis II.
