Vespa Club Tessenderlo

Day 2 - 11/06/2022

We wake up early with a blissful feeling because we can hear the birds chirping in the first rays of sunshine. I prepare to briefly explore the immediate surroundings before we can have breakfast by taking a brisk walk by the water. Time flies, and she returns just in time to take a fresh shower before wishing the members a good morning at the breakfast table. The hotel offers many treats, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything was very well maintained and was therefore praised by all.

With our stomachs full, we prepare to go out with our Vespas in the sunny weather. Our riding master Werner Verwimp has taken the necessary time to find the most beautiful spots and assemble the route we will ride today.

Furthermore, I will not say too much about the ride itself, which must be experienced in peace.

In the evening, we returned to the hotel, where it was clearly evident that everyone had enjoyed this yet-to-come day. Everyone had a broad smile on their face and was eager to share what they had seen on one of the two outdoor terraces.

The group dinner was approaching, everyone refreshed themselves and dressed up for dinner. It was also inevitable that we would get the specialty of Germany on our plates. Two large schnitzels with delicious fries and a sauce of choice. Once again, the bellies of those who at least got it were abundantly filled.

Afterward, we moved to the outdoor terraces because the weather was too nice to sit indoors, and it was too cozy with our closely-knit group.

It was a successful day for everyone!
