The fourth hike is an excursion to places of fantastic beauty, but among the most notorious in the world: the Obersalzberg, 2 km from Berchtesgaden, in the Austro-German Berchtesgadener Land. Hitler spent his holidays there from 1923 and installed the second political center of the Third Reich in 1936. This hike is therefore steeped in history.
