The Green Way is a great route being developed and financed by the Barcelona Provincial Council in collaboration with the different Local Councils and municipalities of the regions through which the Green Way will pass.
The route will consist of 170 km with a positive elevation gain of 1,260 meters.
In the specific case of El Berguedà, the route has been developed and marked up to the town of Sant Jordi de Cercs. From this town onwards, its itinerary is not known.
In light of this fact, and considering that a cultural, natural, and gastronomic tourist offer has not been developed and articulated along this route, first, the path will be traced to Castellar de n'Hug (75 km), the town where the Llobregat River originates, and second, the main cultural, natural, and gastronomic attractions of the area will be indicated.
