Explore the vast meadows between Autry and Condé-les-Autry (some of which are classified as Natura 2000 areas) and discover some war feats by passing through the Hameau de la Mare aux Boeufs, which was a strategic point during the Great War.

This path can also start at the lavoir of the Mare aux Boeufs, where you can choose to embark on the large loop or only cover the 5 km of the historical variant. This part of the circuit is enhanced with historical boards about the Great War.
For a departure from the lavoir of the Mare aux Boeufs, follow in order points 5 / 6 / 7 / 3 / 4 of the description below.
For a departure from Autry:
1/ From the village square, take D 21 towards Sainte-Ménéhould and cross the two bridges over the Aisne in the heart of the village.
2/ Turn right along the campsite, then follow the Aisne valley using the wooded path to reach Condé-les-Autry.
3/ In Condé-les-Autry, turn left then directly right 70m later to enter a wooded path along a stream towards the Hameau de la Mare aux Boeufs, where it is possible to picnic.
4/ Cross the former German camp "Heckhoff Lager" then continue on the small path. Then cross a meadow to reach the Hameau de la Mare aux Bœufs.
5/ At the lavoir equipped with picnic tables, historical boards await you. Then proceed by going up on the right towards the heart of the Hameau on D221.
6/ At the intersection, leave the road and continue on the left path. Leave the path and turn right at the intersection. Then continue straight ahead.
7/ At the crossing of D22
1:> Turn right for the 5 km variant to join Condé les Autry. (then follow points 3 and 4). > Turn left for the large loop, follow the road for 1 km crossing the Ouchery Bridge.
8/ Turn right towards the Bois de Moyon and Autry. Continue straight on the same path.
9/ At the place called Corbeny, an information board on the meadows of Autry. Turn left and take the bridges to cross over the Dormoise.
10/ Turn right at the next two intersections, then take the road that descends to the right and return to the square of Autry.
