The Gravel4daagse consists of four gravel routes of 100km or 75km to the 4 different provinces in Northern Netherlands: Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel, and Friesland.
The Friesland route takes you through the Frisian Woods. In the 75km variant, you cut off a section near Hoornsterzwaag.
The trips always start at the heart of the Outdoor Sports Walhalla on the Boerestreek in Appelscha. You can choose when you want to ride this four-day event; the routes are available year-round. The routes are not marked; you can navigate the routes with the Outdoor Sports Walhalla web app, where you can also download the routes for your own device.
In the route on our web app, you can also see the catering facilities, but be aware: they are not always open! So make sure to bring enough provisions and power.
