AzureWelcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. This route takes you through the beautiful area between Houthem and Valkenburg.
This region is also called Buitengoed Geul & Maas, a tourist collaboration of Valkenburg, Meerssen and Maastricht. Thanks to this collaboration, you can walk on beautifully renovated hiking trails. This area is well worth a visit. You will discover chateau Sint Gerlach and the beautiful paths along the gully.
There are plenty of restaurants in the area for a nice cup of coffee.
The route can be followed via the green markers. Parking is possible at the Tivoli (Plenkertstraat 63 in Valkenburg).
