Search smarter, hit the trail faster

We've all been there: you're looking for that one great route, but all you remember is that it was "something with Zuunbeek." Was it a walk? A bike route? Who knows.

Good news: the 'Keywords' search feature on RouteYou has been updated and now thinks right along with you. You no longer need to know a title by heart to find exactly what you're looking for.

What's new?

• We search beyond the title: Type in a few separate words, a creator, or a region. Our updated algorithm doesn't just search the route name, but also scans other fields like the description, linked themes, features, and groups. The most relevant results automatically appear at the top.

• Targeted search with quotation marks: Are you sure about a specific part of the title or a fixed phrase? Put that part in quotation marks (e.g., "source of the Zuunbeek"). This lets you filter directly for that exact combination.

Want to explore all the possibilities to get the most out of the new search feature? We've put together some handy tips and examples for you.
