Since 2002, De Wikkelaar has been synonymous with a wide selection of delicious dishes from the classic cuisine. Hostess Lieve is usually found behind the stove, preparing both special daily dishes and à la carte meals. From 10 AM, you can come here for a coffee or something stronger as a stopover during your walk or bike ride through the Diksmuide region. In the afternoon, the venue undergoes a transformation and the tearoom opens its doors. Upon entering, you can already smell the delicious fresh pancakes and waffles. In the evening, you can again enjoy à la carte. For children, there is a tailored menu and plenty of play options on the sunny terrace! There is ample parking, and the German military cemetery with the famous statue by Käthe Kollwitz is within walking distance. Be sure to ask about the Kollwitz walking route map. One extra advantage? The venue is wheelchair accessible!
