The undulating landscapes you cycle through on this route seem straight out of paintings by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. Here and there you will find some reproductions of his works on which the character of the Pajottenland is clearly visible. Besides landscapes, you will also stumble upon a few breweries such as Girardin, Lindemans or Timmermans. So stopping for a gueuze or lambic is certainly possible.
If you are willing to deviate a bit from the route, you can admire the spring flowers at the Castle of Groot-Bijgaarden during Floralia Brussels.
This route runs through the municipalities of Dilbeek, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw and Ternat.
