A skating route in Haspengouw with a bit more challenge, the fifth in Limburg

The permanently marked skating route Tongeren starts at Pliniuspark - Fonteindreef 8 - 3700 Tongeren at the level of the skating track. You have the choice of different distances depending on your skating level.

At the starting point, you can outline your route on the starting board. No GPS or map needed, along the way arrows will point the way.

• Beginner level: you can choose to first do a few rounds on the 285m skating track before taking the orange loop of 1.3 km or the green loop of 2.2 km.

• Experienced skater level: if you are not afraid of rolling terrain, you can let loose on the blue loop of 8.8 km.

• Expert level: if you have a good base endurance for uphill and no fear of downhill, then the red loop of 15 km is the challenge you're looking for. You skate along quiet roads through some of the beautiful districts of Tongeren. Ideal for improving your fitness and enjoying the surroundings.
